She liked me better than her children, I swear.

Memorial Program for Ellen Pristo

It only feels right to put something up here for Ellen. She was quick to include me in the family when Ann and I first started dating. We had similar backgrounds, and would often talk during family functions while the rest of the family was doing other things.. watching sports maybe.

I’m also including the information from the back of her memorial program:

Ellen Leigh Pristo, 70, passed away peacefully at home on February 18, 2018. Ellen was born in Grand Forks, ND. She attended North Dakota State University as well as University of North Dakota graduating with a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She lead a meaningful career in her field helping children. Ellen and Paul Pristo were married for 41 years, in that time she enjoyed her career as well as hobbies in quilting and gardening, and most importantly raising her three children. Ellen’s sense of humor was contagious. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Anna Rose Neset, brothers Gilbert and James Neset, and grandson Joseph Hale. She is survived by her loving husband, Paul, and children Catherine (Jeremy) Hale, Andrew (Brandy) Pristo, Anna Rose (Levi) Currit; granddaughter Claire Hale and sister Sally Khyatt.

She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
